Our Mission

To develop cycling skills and fitness of our members and promote the sport of cycling in the greater Ann Arbor community.

About AAVC Membership

We invite people of all ages and abilities to come and ride with us on the road, gravel, trail, grass, and track for fitness, recreation, and racing!

We are a volunteer-run non-profit organization and rely on the active participation of members to provide a great experience for all.

Membership Options* 

Individual Membership $30

Family Membership $50

The Family membership is for any number of people who share a household. Whether you are married, have a partner, a child, a parent — if it’s more than one person, it’s a family!

Click the membership link above, complete the online application/waiver form for yourself. As with the Individual Membership, you pay with credit/debit card or PayPal when you check out.

Each family member will need their own online application/waiver form. Add an “Additional Family Member” to your Cart before you check out and have your family member complete it.

You can come back and “purchase” an Additional Family Member at any time. There is no additional charge for this option.

Until the online waivers are received, family members will not be considered official club members able to participate in club rides and events.

*Please note, memberships last for one calendar year and are required to be renewed prior to the Spring Member Meeting.

Additional Options

AAVC + WBWC Joint Membership

We are pleased to offer a joint membership option with the Washtenaw Biking and Walking Coalition for an additional $10! Note that this is available only as an add-on to your existing AAVC Club Membership.  

WBWC Mission: We promote transportation options for a sustainable and livable community. Our mission is to make Washtenaw County a national leader in bicycling and walking by improving facilities, policies, and community support through advocacy and education.

AATC & UMCYCLING Discounted Memberships

We are pleased to offer discounted memberships to individuals participating in the Ann Arbor Triathlon Club and/or the University of Michigan Cycling Club. Membership in the Ann Arbor Velo Club does not come with any obligation to race for AAVC. We simply welcome you to join our community, train, and ride! Please inquire with the current heads of AATC and UMCYCLING for the link to our discounted memberships.
